Appellate Litigation

Hire top-flight legal talent to handle your appellate litigation, without the over-priced law firm rates.  Paul Schiff Berman, a former clerk to Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg and DC Circuit Chief Judge Harry T. Edwards and an alum of New York law firm Sullivan & Cromwell, has been a law professor for over 25 years, a Dean of two law schools, and has also briefed and argued cases in a variety of federal appellate courts.  He, along with a team of star graduates of GW Law School (all of whom were appellate clerks) will give your case personalized attention.

Unlike big law firms, we handle only one case at a time, giving your case full focus, allowing for quick turnaround times.  And we staff far more cost-effectively than the big law firms; every brief will be written by Professor Berman with the aid of only one other attorney, and Professor Berman will handle all the oral arguments himself.  That way, we don't waste billable hours.  All work will be handled efficiently and economically.  Alternative flat-fee billing arrangements are also available on a case-by-case basis.
